The House of Forest, hidden in the Soproni Mountains, reveals the secrets of forest life in an area of nearly 2 hectares. The Ecotourism Visitor Center presents the values of the forest ecosystem in detail with interactive showrooms and spectacular exhibitions.
If we were to sit down for a refreshment during our adventure, we could even enjoy a steaming coffee in one of the freshwater aquariums that are clearly visible from the buffet. From the covered terrace opening from here, a wooden bridge-walk leads us around the outdoor area, from which we can comfortably admire the big game animals living a hidden life in Hungary. Among the trees, we can discover, for example, wild boars, fallow and red deer, mouflons, roe deer and countless small game species, enjoying a unique experience.
The House of Forest can be reached from our hotel in 10-15 minutes by car, and for most of the way we also have the opportunity to enjoy the proximity of the forest on the serpentine.
