Putting the wishes of the hotel’s guests first, our colleagues try to provide the most comprehensive service possible, regardless of whether they are staying in Sopron for leisure, business or health tourism. The Hotel Palatinus is a suitable starting point for getting to know the sights of the city, for discovering the well-known cafes and restaurants, and for excursions. In addition, through our partnerships, we also offer the possibility to use extra services at our reception.

24-hour reception service
Bicycle-friendly hotel
Guests arriving by bicycle can enjoy the following services: bicycle storage, provision of a pump and repair tools (e.g., spare inner tube and tire repair kit).
Bike renting
Our reception can also recommend a service provider near our hotel for renting bicycles and e-scooters.
Our laundry service is available from Monday to Saturday, there is no laundry service on Sundays and holidays. Clothes must be dropped off at our reception desk before 9 a.m., and their return will be negotiated individually.
Dry cleaning is only available from Monday to Friday, this service is closed on weekends and holidays.
If a “Do not disturb” sign is displayed in your room when the cleaned clothes are returned, we will place the package at the reception desk, where you can collect it.

Our guests can choose from our breakfast offer from 6am to 11am by using the cards in the room. Our partner restaurant, the Jégverem Fogadó, delivers meals ordered by our guests to our hotel during opening hours (from 11am to 10pm), which our receptionist colleagues serve with room service, if required.
The fee of the meals can be paid with the accommodation.

Each room has a refrigerator in the desk, which is suitable for cooling small-packaged drinks.
Our hotel has an air-conditioned conference room for 20 people, with a flipchart, projector, projection screen, sound technology, Internet access, and snacks and drinks are available on request, based on a unique price offer.
Our reception is not authorized to exchange currency. Several banks and money exchange can be found in the nearby of the hotel. Please contact the reception for more information.
Unfortunately parking for a longer time in front of the hotel is not allowed. Public parking lots can be found in Széchenyi square and in Várkerület (free on Sunday; on weekdays and Saturday parking meter operates between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.), or you can place your car in the underground garage that is located around 2-3 minutes away by foot (subject to fees).
Small pets are welcome in our hotel – for a fee – and we make their stay more comfortable with a drinking bowl, bed, reward snack, and other equipment available at the reception (e.g.: leash, tick tweezers). However, you are always responsible for your pets. Thanking you for your understanding, we would like to inform you that for hygiene reasons we cannot allow pets in the breakfast room.
Pillow and blanket
Our reception provides pillows and extra blanket for our guests free of charge at a request.
Please avoid smoking in the whole area of our hotel. In case of smoking, a € 200 damage fee will be charged.
Smoking area can be found in the inner parking yard of the hotel.
Taxi / transfer
Request a transfer through our reception, and we will book it for you at a favorable rate — whether your destination is within our town or in the surrounding area (e.g. airport, train station, Familypark). You can settle the fare together with your room bill. Click here for more details!
